My Zimbio

Newsletter

What to expect of my Newsletter:

  • Audience - I write for those interested in performance improvement issues generally and equipment training issues in particular, including those currently working or formerly employed in high tech equipment industries.
    • “Interested in performance improvement issues” would include: those involved in equipment training, technical writing, quality improvement, field service, customer support, knowledge management, product management- to name a few.
    • “High tech equipment industries” would include: semiconductor equipment, medical equipment, robotic and industrial equipment, military equipment, factory automation equipment- to name a few.
  • Format - Expect each issue to have: A lead article not previously published elsewhere; A reprint of one or two of my most recent posts from this blog; A link list to several other posts on the blog; The schedule for upcoming PBET Workshops and other events of interest to equipment trainers. The Newsletter does not cover all the information posted on the blog.
  • Recession-Proof ?!? - Obviously no one is or can be recession-proof.  I admit it is hyperbole! But the intent is to provide ideas for both professional recession-proofing and personal recession-proofing. Ideas that might contribute to your training department’s survival, or to your own.  Regardless, the focus is on support for the high tech trainer.
    • On the professional side - look for articles on ways to improve performance on operation and maintenance of equipment efficiently. Expect information that can help you evaluate the business value of various analysis, design, and development options for equipment training. Look for tips in general to help improve your value as a training team-player.
    • On the personal side - expect articles and resources for finding work, starting a business, and adjusting to the personal challenge of change.
  • Frequency: Twice a quarter - at irregular intervals - not more than 8 times a year.  Cancel easily at anytime.
