About Richard

Some Background

Richard is a life-long teacher and has always enjoyed helping others learn. He taught high school history and psychology and then opened a private school for middle school students. After moving into the corporate world, he learned, during 8 years as a training manager for a semiconductor equipment supplier, how greatly education differed from training. Taking all he had learned to that point, in 1992 Richard started Solid Performance Solutions and began to help other equipment companies focus their training on performance. Since that time he has conducted the PBET (Performance Based Equipment Training) Workshop in 14 countries for nearly 1600 people. He has also consulted with a number of companies, helping them jump-start their implementation of PBET. In addition, Richard has partnered with his wife Ruth in the development of a network marketing, home business enterprise. In connection with that, he provides coaching for those developing home businesses of their own.
